Toyota Yaris

 

      All lessons are taken in a Toyota Yaris, which is very easy to drive, smooth, and refined - it has proved to be the most popular driving school car that I have owned. The Yaris's excellent driving position with all round visibility makes it an easy car to manoeuvre.  To obtain the perfect driving position the Yaris is fitted with a height adjustable driver's seat, height and reach adjustable steering wheel, speed sensitive power steering and  electric door mirrors. The dashboard is easy to read and all the controls are well laid out making the Yaris suitable for all pupils.

     The Yaris is also fitted with filtered air conditioning, invaluble in the summer if you suffer from hay fever, so you will always be breathing clean, cool, filtered air no matter what the conditions outside. 

      I've had all sizes of pupil from a five foot tall school girl to a six foot five tall rugby player, and all found the Yaris easy to drive.

                            

   The Yaris scores highly on safety with a full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, six airbags, anti lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and of course dual brake and clutch pedals so that I can safely bring the car to a halt if needed.

       As a driving school car the Yaris is fully insured for all ages and experience of learner. 

                                     

 For the 'Show me, tell me' part of the driving test all of the underbonnet checks are easily accessable with the bonnet easy to lift.
